JOSHUA HERRINGTON has interest in what he describes as "Textural Loops" that have become a staple in his performances. Combining his live vocals, guitar,sax, flute, and even drums and bass, he uses a Boss loop station to put it all together. He lent his sounds and songs to several groups in the Blacksburg area, and headlined regularly in surrounding Roanoke, VA and Knoxville TN, opening for the likes of Dubconcious, Copeland, Fighting Gravity, and Matt Nathenson.
DAVE MERRITT has been playing drums for 18 years here in Miami where he excelled in Music programs in high school and then in U.F. and F.I.U. Universities. His journeys took him as far as LA where he drummed for Tia Sprocket - an ex-member of Lucsious Jackson and Minister. He now resides back in his hometown of Miami where he plays for Bento Box and sits in with other local bands.
GABRIEL TUYA - Miami naitive, Gabriel de Tuya is an up and coming guitarist who has excelled quickly despite only playing for 2 1/2 years. But don't let that lack of experience fool you. "Tuya's" visceral slide playing and blues inspired leads add to Bento Box's eclectic and unique sound.
JORGE TERCILLA - Hailing from Puerto Rico, he has had a complete devotion to the Bass for the past 2 years. His influences are mainly rooted in Jazz and Blues styles that combined with the fretless Bass guitar sound, adds a unique spin to the Bento Box sound.
