Zac originally founded Unwound In 1999 with band-mate Cody Christopherson, and continues to entertain crowds of all sizes across the region.

Cody Christopherson began his music career at age 13. He quickly excelled at playing drums, as well as acoustic, electric and bass Guitar. In high school Cody cofounded the band "Unwound" with Zac Grooms, and continued to play drums and develop the band for more than 10 years. Through arrangement and recording, booking and promotions, Cody’s style and attitude has been an important component in the formation of the band’s identity. After a brief hiatus Cody has returned to the lineup and is ready to devote the same tenacity that originally helped push the band to early success.
