With roots in NYC, Philadelphia and Nashville 20 Minute Tango has established themselves in several major music cities and markets. Originally from the Philadelphia area, the bands reputation of quality musicianship in a high energy live setting has carried them into partnerships with key Non-Profits, Radio Stations, and Universities throughout these markets. This includes collaborations with Smart Drive USA, 93.7-WSTW, Graffiti Radio, West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and Wilmington University. Thanks to these successes 20 Minute Tango has since moved their sound to New York City (2012 - present) while maintaining a loyal fan base throughout the Philadelphia area.
Following the 2011 release of their debut EP, "Lights in the Sky", 20 Minute Tango quickly earned a reputation for an entertaining live show and impressive musicianship. In the summer of 2013 the band took their live show on the road for a four week, 26 show tour of the East Coast. On the heels of their very successful tour, 20 Minute Tango entered the famous Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, TN to capture their second recording and first full-length album titled "Drive." Infusing elements of rock, pop, funk and everything in between "Drive" promises to be an exciting step forward for the bands sound.
With excitement and anticipation building from fans “Drive” will be released in the winter of 2013. In support of their first full-length album, 20 Minute Tango is getting ready to hit the road on their second tour in the summer of 2014. Setting out for festivals, large music venues and colleges/universities; the band is ecstatic to share their music, both new and old, with fans across the country once again.
