The band consists of drummer Philipp Barry, guitarist/vocalist Ben Robinson and bassist/vocalist Jim Bolt.
After touring in their well respected bands for years, these talented musicians have joined forces in Charlotte, NC and are making waves!
Skinny Velvet has been touring the South Eastern US, gaining momentum all along the way. The group has shared the festival stage with Johnny Winter, Delbert McClinton, Bernard Allison and Tommy Castro to name a few. They have appeared at 2011 The Big Lick Blues Festival, 2001 and 2012 Blue Ridge Blues and BBQ Festival (Roanoke, VA), The 12th Annual Thunder Beach Rally (Panama City Beach, FL). With the release of their debut EP set for Christmas 2012, the 2013 festival season promises to be a banner year for this talented group of musical mad men!
