Little Tin God Music is the ASCAP - affiliated publishing company of Nashville songwriter Dale Allen (a.k.a. Dale Allen Pommer) originally from Clark, SD. As a performer, Dale played clubs all over the northeast United States with his band "Dale Allen & the Pearl Studs" opening for many major acts including Delbert McClinton, Vassar Clements, Marshall Chapman & Steve Wariner. Dale and the band got mentioned in Time Magazine and New York Magazine.
Dale doesn't currently perform except for a few "Writers Nights" although he did compile a CD of his songs, entitled "Just For Fun". Another CD, titled "Twelve Steps From A Six Pack" will be released in 2011.
Little Tin God Music also publishes songs by Richie Jenkins, Paul Gannon, & Kris Russell.
Dale sang his song He's My Sister Now on the NBC daytime serial "Another World". His song "Nowhere To Go But Crazy" has been recorded on albums by Michael Vallee (For All That It's Worth), Jack Doolittle (Nowhere To Go But Crazy), and in Norway by Bjorn "Big-B" Amdahl. "Plug My Heart Into The Jukebox" appeared on Beverly Ellis's Delta Disc debut: "A Diamond Won't Cut It", and has been released in Denmark by Wench Hartmann, in Norway by Bjorn Amdal, and in the U.S. by a number of artists. Another song of Dale's -- "The Other Side of Love" appears on the multi-platinum Irish album, "The Smile On Your Face" by Frances Black and his song, "Hey Marie" was recorded by Jimmy C. Newman on his "Louisiana Love" album. "Plug My Heart Into The Jukebox" and "I'm Looking Forward To Not Looking Back" were recorded by JW Houston on her English album "Sidewinder", and "Listen" was recorded by German country singer Brandon Wolfe. All told, Dale has over 30 cuts worldwide by various artists.
