The Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down in Eureka Springs celebrates its 30th Anniversary in 2011 and is the 4th longest running show in the Ozarks!
The Hoe-Down is not your average show. It's a concert style performance that's been featured on the Whoopi Goldberg radio show "Wake Up With Whoopi", voted "Eureka Springs Business of the Year", and spotlighted in a 2 page article in Harley Davidson's "Hog Tales" Magazine.
Featured this year are the George Brothers, who are making a name for themselves in the Texas music scene with their first radio single "Brothers, Friends, & Outlaws Forever".. Catch them at over 200 shows at the Hoe-Down this year!
There's also some of the funniest comedy in the Ozarks right here at the Hoe-Down. P. Nutt, Ponytail, and Girl play off the audience each night and you never know what might happen. We've had families come 4 or 5 times in a week just because they know it's always going to be a bit different each night!
If you're looking for a stiff performance with a a set routine that gets out at exactly 10pm each night...you're coming to the wrong show. But if unforgettable live music and laughing until your abs are sore is what you have in mind - come on in! The comedy pre-show starts at 7:30 and the main show starts at 8pm. We might get out at 10:15pm or 10:30pm...but you're sure to have a night you won't forget when you visit the Hoe-Down!
