Casey's love of music runs deep. He sang with the Texas A&M Singing Cadets when he started college. He continued to sing with the Sul Ross University Chorus while he completed his degree.
After graduation, Casey moved to Austin and taught himself to play the guitar. He gained additional experience playing with bands all along Austin's famed Sixth Street. He formed the Casey Yeager Band in 2000 and plays a mix of country, rock, and blues and does bookings for private parties, weddings, and special events.
Ever the eclectic musician, Casey also plays with The Walburg Boys, a German folk band that plays at the Walburg Restaurant and Biergarten. They have extensive experience playing German festivals such as Wurstfest in New Braunfels.
Currently Casey is playing many small venues, as a solo or a duet act. Casey enjoys playing the smaller venues where you can really have personal contact with the people, and you also learn a lot about the kinds of songs they want to hear. The solo and duet style performances also serve as a great tool for the song writing that he loves so much.
Casey's New CD, 'Strong and Sturdy' is now available. The Cd is a full band production. Produced by Chris Gage In MoonHouse Studio in Austin, Tx.
