Jack Connor / Bio

Jack Connor (b. John James O'Connor) is a rock musician, singer-songwriter, and actor based in the Tampa Bay/Central Florida areas. Best known as the lead singer of Vertebreaker and bassist of Zebrageist, Connor has also been a member of other Florida bands such as Lives' Page, Dragline, W.M.P., Cobalt Blue, and Impatient Nation. Additionally, Jack Connor been a featured guest performer with a variety of acts such as Consinity, Warfly Army, D-42, Dangerous New Machine (w/ former members of Stereomud, Fozzy, and Stuck Mojo), and Century Media recording artists Fozzy (featuring WWE superstar Chris Jericho). As an actor, Connor has appeared in web series "The Hunted: Tampa" and short films including "The UT Matrix."

Equally comfortable fronting heavy rock bands as he is playing in a mellow, acoustic setting, Jack Connor brings a unique classic rock-inspired approach toward a solo, acoustic format. Able to perform a wide range of covers, as well as original music from throughout his career, Jack Connor is a highly adaptable performer available for cover gigs, original showcases, weddings, special events, etc. as a singer, musician, or MC/Announcer.
