Dear Comrade / Bio

Dear Comrade is a Brooklyn based band founded in 2009 by singer-songwriter Arthur Kremer, formerly of the indie-rock band Stellastarr*, with guitarist Emmett Aiello and singer Stephanie Pekin. In 2011, with the help of Dennis Lehrer on drums and bassist Tim Jansen on bass, the band recorded and released it's debut album "All Wisdom is Gone". Since then Dear Comrade has played regularly in New York City, with bass player Phil Zuckerman and vocalist Mack Dobbins. In 2013 Dear Comrade released it's sophomore effort entitled "Here You Are".

Dear Comrade's diverse sound is a reflection of the musical histories and influences of it's contributors. The music, unbound by genre, often varies in mood and texture, but is always earnest and thought provoking.
