Jonny T-Bird & the MPs belt out a soulful mix of blues and originality. Since 2009, their performances included some of southeastern Wisconsin's well-known venues (Miramar Theatre, Cactus Club, Up & Under, etc.). These four individuals met while they were studying music at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC). The band is building upon past success and booking gigs for the near future. The band is also a proud member of the Grafton Blues Association.
Jon Neuberger (guitar/vocals) - At an early age, Jon Neuberger was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, a learning disability related to autism. Jon picked up his first guitar in 2003 and has found that music is what truly gets him out of bed in the morning. After years of forming and leaving bands, Jon has found the right blend of musicians. Today, Jon continues to bring success to his music career after recently graduating with a Bachelor's in Music Business at Carroll University.
Isaac Berg (drums) - First off, Isaac's father (Jim) and uncle (Tim) are none other than, The Duct Tape Guys! While duct tape runs in the family, Isaac Berg gets a kick out of learning and playing new material. Isaac met Jon in 2008 while attending school at MATC. The pair jammed together in several MATC ensembles before the band was born. When he's not with the MPs, Isaac is either giving music lessons or working at the Wisconsin Club.
Brian Morrison (bass) - Brian Morrison first met Jon while attending music classes at MATC. After they met, the two formed a short-lived band called The Marinated Puppets. After this band broke up, Jon wanted to form another musical project and invited Brian along, which he accepted. Brian hopes to make music his full-time living and he's always looking forward to another gig, even with the MPs.
Keshena Armon (keys/percussion/vocals) – Ms. Keshena Armon has spent the past 2 decades singing and playing at church or with many local acts. When she is not performing, Keshena can be found teaching private music lessons. She first became part of the MPs when Jon asked her to fill in on drums for a gig a year prior to becoming their fourth member.
