Bio BA13 :
Jérémy - Guitar
Thomas Melodica/Backin' vocals
Nash - Vocals
Tom - Bass
Etienne - Drums
BA13 story began in November 2008 in a basement of Paris suburbs
The band quickly reshaped after Sebastien (bass) left in the early days. One of the Tom became TomBass by taking the lead on the 4-string bass and Jeremy played guitar alone. With Etienne on the drums and MelodicaTom switching between keyboard and melodica, they wrote their first songs.
"Control" immediately embodies BA13 identity, a tensed music which claims legacy of the post-punk scene. (Control was released on the french compilation SADE)
But a voice was still missing… In May 2009, Nash ( ex-Wallenberg and other bands) eventually swapped her drumsticks for a microphone and became BA13 singer. Her nervous flow gave the final touch to electrify the band’s songs.
What started as a fake band – none of BA13 members playing his instrument – After a long time to play live, the band had turned into a real project with the recording of their first EP “ROUGH GIRL” (release scheduled in April 2013 on the french label Manic Depression Records.)
