In 2005 after playing in many different bands, Ryan Coker, Blaine Bennett, and Brandon Bennett got together to write and record original music. After a few practices they decided to bring in a drummer and a second guitarist which formed Babe's Bayou . They started playing local venues and quickly built up a following. In 2006 they won Best Tradditional Country Band of The Year at the Georgia Country Gospel Music Awards. Then they went on to win Band of The Year in 2007. In 2008 they released their first album entitled, In The Blink Of An Eye. Shortly after releasing the album, their single Wild Women made it in the regular rotation on South 107. They have played venues all over the south, and have shared the stage with many national artists including, Luke Bryan, Keith Anderson, JoDee Messina, Lee Brice, Drivin N Cryin, Sister Hazel, Justin More, T Grahm Brown, and many more.
