Color of Fate has existed in various incarnations for the better part of a decade. Founders Christian Johnson and Michael "Woody" Emerson have been a tandem for nearly nine years. This unshakable brotherhood has rocked the Knoxville/Maryville scene in the past under such names as "Faultline" and "Vinyl Season" before deciding on the band's curent name.
The revolving door of musicians that the pair has played with over time has helped to hone and sharpen their skills. Yet, despite having a rather impressive resume and repertoire, playing everything from vibrant funk to thrashing metal, the bedrock duo had hit a proverbial wall, which left them feeling frustrated, unsatiated, and unchallenged.
Enter Marek Rosinski, a jazz-trained native of Poland. Marek would round out the ensemble, adding an immensely creative perspective, as well as the technical proficiency to match. With this final element now in place, a universe of seemingly endless possibilities lingers at the fingertips of its musical creators.
