Birthplace: Washington, PA.
Songwriter/producer Myron Edwins performs concerts, nightclubs, festivals, casinos, hotels and resorts, and has completed tours of France, Germany, Japan, Norway, Trinidad, Canada, Switzerland and throughout USA.
Edwins recently worked as bassist and lead vocalist for six years with Evolution the Ultimate Tribute to Journey, a San Francisco Bay Area Top tribute band, opening shows for major rock acts like Greg Kihn, Starship, Foghat and Night Ranger.
Born into a family of musical entertainers, Myron performed his first professional shows with The Edwards Generation in Pennsylvania and New York, respectively, opening the very FIRST State Lottery (Canonsburg, PA) and also at Lincoln Center and Top of The Gate/Bitter Inn (Greenwich Village). In '71, local music producer for Ghetto Records signed the band and released a single "Someone Like You" that featured a teen-aged Myron as lead vocalist on both the "A" and "B" sides!
As a teen, Edwins moved to California where he danced on the streets of San Francisco alongside his family for nearly nine years, making a living. A chance meeting with (the late music producer) Barry White in 1972 resulted in Barry producing several demo recordings with Myron's family at Rainbo Recording Studios in Los Angeles.
