Born and raised in South Hayward, CA Francell Jorell Moore was influenced by music at an early age. Throughout most of his youth he watched his father play in a band and was present for his fathers performances around the Bay Area. He was taught at a young age to read music, sing, and play saxaphone. It wasn't until his freshman year of High School when he started freestyling. This continued for years until July 2010 when he hooked up with an upcoming artist Tipz from Modesto, CA who got him into recording. At the time he started using his and his son's nickname "Cell" as an artist name. Rapping was a sort of hobby at first until the death of his brother Jesus Daniel Guzman in Oct 2010. His brothers death set in motion a change in Cell and he started taking music seriously. By Jan. 2012 he dropped his first official album "Cell - I got to get behind that". In the summer of 2012 after seeing the importance of what a name can bring you and the gross overuse of the name "Cell" from over 100 different artists in different genres he decided to change his name to "Point 5". This was another nickname that he went by since Junior High. After changing his name he Dropped the mixtape "Da Squad - Money Motivated Mixtape in da mix wit DJ Eternal". Even though his life has been turbulent he has remained focused and busy leading him to his first record deal with "Dynasty Reign Entertainment" and is currently in the process of dropping two mixtapes "Tryna Make it Vol 1 & 2" and two albums "Running Out of Options" & "Crunch Time".
