Trailblazing country singers are few & far between. The names are few, but powerfully etched in the mind of every last american. Brian Keith Morrison raised & living in the Missouri heartland gives Keith his focus. His voice & lyrics pay homage to those who came before him, but his enigmatic stage presence sets him apart. His talent as a musician & songwriter is clearly defined, as his touring boundries have expanded all over the mid-south, and southeastern states, and is getting global attention with his patriotic single "They been gone too long" and " When im right im wrong".
Keith learned to play the drums at 12, playing in his middle & high school bands. The snare drum & triple toms kept him busy... dreaming. Keith started his climb, playing in a few bands, then landing a regular gig with “Southern Style”, as the drummer and lead singer, a unique combination of skill & talent. Keith quickly became a well-known and popular artist.
Not long after his success, Keith found himself being actively recruited by the band “Steel Country”, playing drums and singing the other half of his week. As his fan base accelerated, people wanted to hear Keith's pipes. The band got a new drummer, and Keith got out front, selling out shows in northern Mississppi. Keith has performed with such artist as Neil McCoy, Hank Jr., Lynard Skynard, Wilson Fairchild, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Shanadoa, just to name a few. He was also a National Finalist on Nashville Star. Keith has a large fan base through out America\Europe, he keeps his calender full in the mid west and southern states. He has been featured artist on the Billy Block Show in Nashville,KATV 7 Good Morning Ark., Texaco Country Showdown,Pure Country 106.1, Amsterdam Radio, YHC TV, and many radio stations across the U.S. and U.K., Check out his video “They Been Gone Too Long” which has never before seen footage from fans that are serving our country in the Military ,produced by Rick Depreist Productions. He is not only a talented song writer, but he and his band are constantly out performing and wowing the crowds with their Country Rock music and energy. Keith's making quite a stir with his band at his live performances and with his songs being played on the national radio stations as well as all over the internet. Especially popular is his songs "They've Been Gone Too Long".& " When Im Right Im Wrong". Songs that everyone can relate to. He has proven to be a dedicated and very talented singer, songwriter, and live performer.
Keith has been making trips to Music City, Tennessee, religiously, co-writing songs with exceptional songwriters, including; Marty Brown , " Im from the country" Tracy Byrd, Karen Staley, "Keeper of the stars" "Lets go to vegas",Sarah Majors, Jon Conley cuts by Wynona Judd, Corey Barker- cuts by Cletus T. Judd and the writer for season 2 of Smallville, Dave Tough, David Harper- composer for HBO, ABC, and CBS.
Keith’s new demo CD is produced by Kenny Royster, which has produced for such artist as Trisa Yearwood, Craig Morgan,Tim McGraw, Reba, and many more. Kenny is also a Grammy winner back in 2006 for production. Keiths style of music reflects his country- rock style roots' and amazingly smooth voice. He is currently working on a compilation of original work for his upcoming album. His fan base is growing, and anxiously anticipates it's release. Keith covers songs by artist such as Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Jamey Johnson, Lynard Skynard, Darryl Worley, David Lee Murphy, George Strait, Allan Jackson, Eric Clapton, Lone Star, Kenny Chesney, Clint Black, Travis Tritt, Neil McCoy, Poison, John Cougar, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and many more!!
