Rusty G's / Bio

Alternative rockers Rusty G’s - first hit the Milton Keynes music scene in late 2007 with their unique blend of grunge, alternative, progressive rock and blues creating a powerful and energetic sound.

Since the bands formation, James Finch (guitar and lead vocals), Tom Finch (bass and backing vocals) and Dan Lopez (drums and percussion) have been playing nationwide, increasing their fan base.

In February 2011 the band performed their biggest show to date, playing to a packed out audience of 5,000 at The Sheffield Motorpoint Arena. Later in the year the band also racked up some impressive support slots with Johnny Foreigner and Les McKeown's Bay City Rollers.

2012 was a busy year for the band. Not only did they find time to appear at numerous festivals such as The Milton Keynes Summer Fayre Festival, Peterborough Arts Festival and Properstock Music Festival (to name a few), they also managed to fit in time to record their E.P. 'Breaking up' which spawned their first Official Music Video- Also entitled 'Breaking up'.

Rusty G's finished 2012 with some great support slots with Australian rockers 'Electric mary' and grunge-indie band 'Nine Black alps' who had a smash hit debut album with Island records back in 2002.

The boys are no strangers to the cameras and media as proved with their impressive features in the local heroes section of Kerrang! Magazine and US magazine ‘Stitched Sound’ along-side ‘The All American Rejects’. Adding to this the band have recieved some great airplay on BBC Intoducing, BBC Northampton, Diverse FM and Peterborough FM.

Latest E.P. ‘Breaking Up’ which is by far their most accomplished work, is now available via iTunes and Amazon. Debut single and title track ‘Breaking Up’ was released on Youtube and Amazon in April 2012 accompanied by their debut video release! Latest single 'Nothing' has just been released via Amazon and Youtube accompanied with their second offical video release.

2013 has already seen an impressive start from the band with an excellent support slot with Dead Sons and more BBC Introducing interviews and live sessions. So prepare to rock out for the rest of 2013. Watch this Space!
