The Company was founded in 1998 by CEO Glenn "Gee" Crain and his brother Kalimant "K.C." Crain who Produces, Rap and Sings. They started recuiting family and friends to put together a tight Intrigue U Records Click that was creative, they did just that. Intrigue U Records consist of Big Gee, K.C., 2-Eleven, Big Boy Greg, J-Boy, Kali, Pakman Manajae and James Ray formerly known as G-No.
The First Album released was "Ain't No Stopping" with four hot tracks produced by K.C. in 1998. The Second Album released was "It's My Turn" by James Ray in 1999. Intrigue U Records won First place in R&B and Hip-Hop Contest sponsored by Z-90 at Club Essex in 1999. The Third Album released was "Soul Searchin" by 2-eleven in 2000. The Fourth Album released was "The Compilation" in 2001, "I wanted to do an Album that featured all the Artist from Intrigue U Records". The Fifth Album was "As the World Turns" in 2003 by 2-eleven.
In 2004 they produced music for a Christian Rap group called "Street Preachas" who was nominated for "Premios la Estrella del Milenio" which is the Music Awards in Mexico. Since then they've released 3 additional albums and working on 3 other Albums which are due to be released in Early 2011. These are the Albums "Mood Swang, From Tha A 2 Tha Bay, Trials & Tribulations, Intoxicated, Kalifornia and a DVD/CD called The Dairy of Intrigue U Records. This DVD has 2 1/2 hours footage which is a Documentary on the label, backstage scenes, interviews with the artists, Music Videos, and how they're living. It will definitely keep you interested from the begining until the end. This Label will be eventually be a force to reckon with when you mention Hot labels in the Music Industry.
