Joesf Glaude, a multi-instrumentalist, is best known for his work as a jazz and harp-guitarist. His work with violinist James Ruggles, however, is not his first venture into classical music.
Joesf was a soloist with the Williamsburg Chamber Orch. and the Locrian Consort. He mixes his classical compositions into his Jazz CDs and his first CD, Mood for a Day, is a collection of standard classical guitar pieces.
James Ruggles is a trained Classical Violinist. He studied under Peter Marsh, Maurice Sklar and Marc Gottlieb.
James is the President of the Tulsa Friends of Chamber Music and has performed as a soloist and with the Signature Symphony and the Ft. Smith Symphony.
James recorded with the Ft. Smith Symphony on the Naxos label releases of Symphony 4 & 5, In Memorium, Poem for Orch. and African American Symphony by William Grant Still.
