Since forming in 2009, the South Carolina based 5 piece rock band KELEN HELLER has concentrated on bringing their brand of rock to the masses. After releasing their first EP with the radio hit "Redefine", and a horror inspired video to follow that was featured in Guitarworld, they began building their fan base and creating a buzz throughout the Southeastern territory which ultimately landed them a string of sold-out arena shows with Gun's N' Rose's and Buckcherry.
2012 saw the band winning the Rockstar Uproar festival opening slot, beating out 100's of other regional acts for the chance to play with bands like Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, In This Moment and POD.
2013 has been the biggest year for the band so far with the release of their highly anticipated EP with Shinedown/Crossfade platinum selling producer Rick Beato. The single "Never Lived" and accompanying live video filmed at a sold out venue in their hometown have took the band to a mainstream level. The band also logged in their first national tour across the US in 2013, as well as scoring direct supporting slots for Sevendust and Halestorm on select dates.
The end of 2013 / early 2014 takes KELEN HELLER into the studio with famed producer Brett Hestla (Creed, Dark New Day, Framing Hanley) to produce new material. A new single will be release early in 2014, followed by a new disc. In between, KH plans to stay on the road spreading the name and music to as many people as possible.
KELEN HELLER has had the honor of earning opening slots to such bands as:
