Born from Ashes is an archetype combining high octane hard rock with obsessive chaos propelling dueling vocals and guitar harmonies with unrelenting, vigorous rhythms. Evading the breed of the overabundant, monotonous metal bands, Born from Ashes, formed in 2006, as an anti-stigmatic group bridging the gap between hard rock and metal in Orlando’s music scene.
Releasing their first demo EP online to a worldwide audience in 2006, followed up with a successful 2008 digital release, BFA gained notoriety with their track, "Desertion" on Orlando’s 101.1 WJRR.com. In late 2012, Born from Ashes released their first music video for their single “Pressure,” a cover of a Billy Joel song that expanded their marketability outside the normal crowds for rock and metal bands and is continuing to help increase their following all over the US. BFA performed their first single off their recently released self-titled full length album titled “Reflection” live on Orlando’s real radio 104.1 and is played regularly on 101.1 WJRR. A supporting tour to their release is in development.
Born from Ashes owns the stage like no other bands in Central Florida. As a viewer, BFA will connect with you and include the entire venue to create an energy that is almost tangible and with a sound as versatile as theirs, they can play with almost any band in the rock community. They have opened for many national acts including, (hed)PE, Soil, Mushroomhead, Fear Factory, Taproot, and Ill Nino, where in some cases, they actually outsold the national acts in ticket sales.
