Michael Ryan Zanidean aka Ghost is no stranger to performing under pressure whether as an MC, a professional street basketball player, a motivational speaker, or as a young entrepreneur. The Vancouver-based artist initially built a large following releasing streetball videos online, which led to his receiving a full athletic scholarship to an American college as well as a place on the And1 streetball touring team. After honing his rapping skills and recording dozens of songs in college, Ghost began releasing his music in late 2010 to an immediately supportive audience. He warmed up mics and crowds for internationally recognized artists like Tech N9ne, Hopsin, Swollen Members, Kid Ink, Tha Dogg Pound, xzibit, Joell Ortiz, and D-12, getting dozens of local performances under his belt. With the release of his debut album Listen or Die in 2012, Ghost’s profile continued to grow. He was invited to go on his first full rap tour as the main supporting act for Madchild’s 45-city Dopesick tour. Embracing the whole experience Ghost made the final transition from a dabbling athlete to a full-time MC who is hungry to put himself, his team, and his city on the map on a worldwide level once again.
