10 years ago, I taught himself how to play guitar, found my voice, and fell in love with music. That was just the beginning of my love and passion for songwriting. Since then I have taught myself to play piano, drums, bass, mandolin, banjo, and harmonica. My connection to music is one that I can not explain, however my audience can feel, hear, and see in every song I write or perform. It is my way of capturing memories, feelings, and emotions that I share with every person I have the honor of meeting. I have and will continue to put my heart and soul into every song I write, every show I play, and every relationship I build on the road or in my hometown of Fort Worth, Texas (Go Frogs!). My inspirations include Pat Green, Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Parachute, Train, and Mumford and Sons. My fondest memory is when I first heard the music of Walt Wilkins as he was singing "Someone Somewhere Tonight". From that moment on he was and will always be an inspiration in my songwriting and my performance. In my songs I have written about; a broken heart from past loves, the story of Bonnie and Clyde, and about giving up the American Dream to pursue my own dream. For me that includes writing, singing, and performing my own music. I can only hope that one day I will inspire someone, somewhere to follow their own dreams.
