Jesse Tyler was born and raised in Charlotte, NC under the musical influence of his Mother's car trip harmonies and his Stepfather's acoustic guitar lullabies. They both encouraged all of his artistic endeavors and also gave him a musically gifted set of siblings to play with at home.
He moved to Atlanta, GA at the age of 19 to pursue love and a career in the arts, specifically with the Atlanta Ballet. As he established himself in the Atlanta dance scene, relationships with artists outside of the dance world start to form, namely with two producer/audio engineers, Andrew Walker and Paul Warner.
Jesse, who for the past five years has taken the spotlight in principal roles at the Atlanta Ballet, caught the eye of writer Andrew Alexander who published an article in Creative Loafing, “Dancer by Day, Musician by Night.” Andrew highlighted the artistry of both of his passions.
Anyone who hears his music will will agree that Jesse seamlessly transfers the dynamism and grace from his training as a dancer to his lyricism, vocal impact, and musical performance. At 25 he has already performed with a variety of industry powerhouses. Jesse’s affinity for music has led him to learn from and collaborate with some of Atlanta’s finest singer-songwriters.
In 2012 he joined forces with singer/songwriter Adelaide and they typically perform as a duo.
