Kevin Finklea is a multi-instrumentalist from Matoaca, VA, with 20 years experience playing music. Starting on piano, he switched to guitar at age 14, started playing bass at 17, and played drums intermittently over the years. Currently he plays bass with local guitar ace Zack Artis, and was the original bass player for the Tri-Cities-based rock band Prone to Rage. He is also the former lead guitarist for Matoaca-based punk rockers What Price Victory, and in late 2011 was the studio bassist for Midlothian-based band Kristoffer Manzelli and the Gods of Rock's debut album.
Kevin can be found playing in many venues around the Richmond and Tri-Cities areas. Kevin currently plays with blues/jazz ensemble Spoonful (bass and piano), country/rock group the Via Brothers Band (bass/vocals), and is currently in the process of building a new female-fronted, progressive/symphonic rock band, in which he will play keyboards and sing. No name has yet been given to this project.
