Believers in the transcendental energy of electric guitar and the cosmic truth of the gritty blues. Every jam a unique opportunity to reach self-actualization among vibrations of screaming bent-notes and the thumping rhythm of the universe.
Bad Love has earned a reputation among friends and fans alike as being a serious high-energy rock and roll band. Since the mid-2000's the band has indulged Northwest audiences from grange halls and teen centers to dive bars and downtown clubs with what the Seattle Sinner (5/08) called "blistering blues-riffage and hard rock gusto!" Uncompromising from the start, the group was among a few garage rock/blues outfits to continue the proud tradition of loud guitar-driven boogie in the Pacific Northwest, doing so in the era where safe, bland, indie-pop was king. Death Cab, The Shins and the rest.
The band released a self-titled 7 track debut in 2008 as a four peice but said farewell to Joshua Henningsgaard (Guitars/Vocals) in 2010 as he relocated to Thailand to seek spiritual satisfaction and live out a long time dream.
In the spring of 2011, Bad Love annouced the plan to vigarously return to playing live shows as a three-piece, with new material. Currently recording a new EP in the spring of 2013 with release date by the end of summer.
