S.I.X the Reptilian!! Founding member of the hip hop group 'The Reptilianz" here on Earth disguised as a fresh young kid on the scene. Hot New Rapper with an illmatic alienated swerve. Bringing a new energy to Rap Music with a little fusion of pop here and there, strengthening the history of the craft delivering ingenious lyrics, commercial punch lines and basically Rocking your planet with his New Alien Flow!! Lets not forget.... Hes Jamaican!!!
Six the Reptilian, formally known as “Six Skrilla”, has been on the local rap scene since 2008. Several reviews in the Jamaican star and the Gleaner. The story headlined “Jamaican rappers in clash” as there was a feud between Six the Reptilian and the other founding member of his group at the time called “Black Mass”. Although Six opted not to do most of the "diss" track, his lyrical enemy was not so forgiving, instead unleashing an all-out verbal assault on Six later in the night, to the delight of patrons. After this show, the feud basically ended along with his enemy’s career after he attempted suicide the following year. Six was now no longer on the local rap scene since there were no more demands for shows at this time due to the clash. Six had to totally re-invent himself and put the past behind him.
Born Kyle Poole in Kingston Jamaica, the Reptilian grew up with his parents who we’re both from England, in a fairly stable home and fell in love with hip hop music with nothing but cable TV and a few trips to America to see family and friends. It was very unorthodox being from Jamaica and dance-hall music not being most prominent in his playlist but despite all the strange looks and being an outcast, hip hop music was always the dominant genre in his life.
“Even though I was Jamaican and grew up in Jamaica I had a natural love for hip hop music. I always wanted to be a rapper. It was always a dream to me. I think I owe “Biggie Smalls”, “Puff Daddy” and “Mase” for that dream because they sparked my interest in the lifestyle and hip hop itself. I realized I could regurgitate lyrics and sound almost like the artist or similar so I started writing my own poetry at first till it turned into songs. My last year of high school was when I broke out of my shell and realized that this was what I came to earth to do.”
The dream had completely died with all the drama involved with “Black Mass”. Day to day Six was seen walking down the road in his home area with nothing but a black berry with horrible sound quality playing and rapping along to some known hip hop artists. He was spotted by a known reggae producer by the name of Dane Moo who he became friends with and convinced him to produce hip hop. He told six to do a freestyle track on Kanyes “mercy” beat, Six got to work immediately. Dane was so impressed he shot a video for it no less than a week after. Not only was he convinced, he became an artist as well and they created a cool “alien” world with well constructed songs that was extremely surprising to them both. They were both going through hard financial times which left them with nothing but two iPods and a struggling WiFi signal to create this whole amazing world and a full album of what the believe to be commercial "bubblegum" songs that will maybe do a lot more than they think. Now that the past is behind him, Six the Reptilian is a founding member of the label “AMG” (Alien Music Group) and the group “The Reptilianz” and has created a new energy and lane for the rap game. “The Reptilianz” have a unique package and an interesting concept that will provoke the listener and lead him or her to a different dimension of thought .His lane is a cool alien disguised as a rapper from Jamaica who came to earth to basically evolve hip hop and bring people to a higher realm. The Reptilianz include Six the Reptilian and the other founding member of AMG “Hooks Amero” and they are completing their first mixtape album called “World With No Religion”. Even though you might think this “alien rapper” gets deep into conspiracy theories, this is not the case. He uses several references to cleverly make these space terms and phrases relate to life in a very cool way. For example he may refer to his fans or beautiful women as “hybrids” and luxurious cars as “spaceships” or “flying machines”. Music has a whole new meaning to him now as he searches for answers and the secrets of this mysterious world. Look out for the first single released by AMG called “Yeah Mon” being played on local radio.
