D. Brown, Detroit's Best Kept Secret in R&B, has broken his silence and has released his long awaited, much anticipated, self-titled, debut album called " The D Brown LP ".

D. Brown has been singing, writing and producing his own brand of R&B music for the last 15 years and has compiled what he and many of his supporters feels is some of the greatest R&B music to come out of Detroit, Michigan for a very long while.

"It's the story of love affairs good and bad which have come and gone," says the 37 year old R&B veteran crooner. The D. Brown LP, he says, is his account of the experiences he transcended throughout the creation of the album.

Since it's August 24, 2010 release, The D. Brown LP has sold copies in countries all around the globe. His list of world-wide fans and supporters is on a continual rise according to the statistics reported on ReverbNation.com.

The rise in global support has afforded D Brown the ReverbNation.com chart ranking of #6 out of 297 on the R&B/Soul chart for Detroit, MI. He's also ranked at #235 out of 14,389 of all R&B artists in the U.S.

In D. Brown's own words he says, "It's been a tough and arduous task creating this album and finding people willing to share my dream.", a sentiment that is understood by the multitude of independent artists in and around the Detroit neighborhoods where he makes his unique style of music
