Inspired by the sounds of reggae legends like Bob Marley, Culture, the I-Threes, and strong female vocalists like Anita Baker and Marsha Ambrosius, It was important for Bradshaw to incorporate her influences to achieve the laid back yet deep and soulful reggae of Hypnotion. The group formed over several months, starting when drummer Lawrence Newmark moved back to the band's home base of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Guitarist Matt Smith, who has played for over 20 years and has become an asset to many other projects, has since day one been working with Bradshaw to refine songs she had previously recorded. The three then brought in bassist Jake Cranston, keyboardist Evan Alvarado, and guitarist Jason Ward to create a band that has received rave reviews from fans and musicians alike.

Bradshaw has paid her dues in the music industry and come out with a powerful voice and stage presence, worldwide recognition, and a passionate love of music. Her history with the reggae genre goes back to her early childhood when she watched her father, Anthony Bradshaw and uncle, Devon Bradshaw practice in her home with international star and Grammy winner Burning Spear and other world-renowned musicians. "We had a studio at home so I was in the studio all the time working on music with my uncle Devon Bradshaw especially after my dad passed away. He encouraged and pushed me to be my best and to exercise good work ethics."
After her first touring gig providing vocal harmonies for Garnett Silk at the age of 18, she continued to record, creating and refining her own music. She later would go on to sing lead vocals at tourist hot spots in Jamaica while having a steady career, completing yearly world tours with top reggae artists, recording singles and providing vocal harmonies on a host of albums including a Grammy-award winning album (Calling Rastafari).
