Cure For Insomnia (CFI) / Bio

Cure For Insomnia (CFI) is an industrial rock project, originally founded in 2007 by Neil Watson and Chris Hopkins. The trio is completed by musician and visual artist, Mark Chrystal - who is responsible for all the band's artwork.

CFI's music has a characteristic sound, fusing live instruments with samples and electronic beats. Their approach to writing has baffled many, led to the development of a fan base as far away as India and, in the process, easily established them as one of Scotland's most unique and offbeat bands.

Having been on a longer-than-expected break they mark their return in 2012 with the release of the aptly named single 'ReBirth' which, in addition to the title track, also features a new version of one of their most popular songs, 'Revolution'.

2012 should be a big year for the Scottish band, with the release of an EP pencilled in for the summer.
