These songs were recorded live, so you'll hear feedback, technical glitches, and a bunch of old, fat, bald guys that can still kick your rock and roll ass.
I started playing when I was 6. I played in a few bands during high school, but wanted to see what life beyond Grand Rapids was like.
In 1978, I left Grand Rapids to see a chunk of the world while aboard a U. S. Coast Guard Ice Breaker, and spent 10 years playing with “The Squares” in Los Angeles. We did 2 records, and played all over Southern California from '79 to '88.
I moved my wife and daughter back to Michigan in 1988.
Twenty years later, when life started slowing down a little, I decided to see if I could do the rock and roll thing again. Something different from what all the other “guys our age” were doing. Songs that you haven’t heard in a long time, given a tasteful ass-kicking. I saw the way club and bar audiences responded so positively to old, fat, bald guys playing half-hearted renditions of burned out songs, and I knew I could do better.
After a few years of hard work, I got the band and necessary equipment together, but for reasons beyond my control it just didn't work out with this group.
I'm currently looking for a Lead Guitarist, Bassist and Drummer. If you're interested, mature, stable and dependable, you can respond on this site. Please put your E-mail address in your e-mail and a phone number so I can respond to you. I really only want to hear from people who want to do something that other bands aren't doing. Folks who are willing to work to have the best product out there.
Thanks for reading, enjoy the music.
