Cologne in September 2010
The singer Jens Burmann left his former band Mary´s Gone. The two musicians Michael Bock and Lutz Schröder where therewhile looking for a new voice. As they already knew and appreciated each other it was quickly sure to make music together.
The concept was also clear: composing and conducting thought-out music. Except the basic bricks Schröder, Bock and Burmann there was one component left. Through an systematic search the drummer Michael Remijn joined them.
LateOnTheSecond was born. After some band rehearsals a couple of songs came out with titles like "SING", "Say Hello", "Doorcase" and "Alright". Among them as well the flagship "L.I.S.A.". The songs were all a raving success and the fan-base steadily rised. With the mission to produce, record and play the new songs live. LateOnTheSecond are about on their way 2011 to perform an several stages to get audition and to encourage diverse recordlabels and publisher to kick off.
LateOnTheSecond is a mix of Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots and Jeff Buckley. Clean guitar licks, harmonic played bass lines, hard drum-sound and an energetic voice round up the definition of LateOnTheSecond.
