Born on April 18th 1987, Dane Russell spent most of his childhood moving from place to place in and around the Detroit area. Growing up in Motown was a huge influence and his love for music was undeniable from a very young age. After moving out to Phoenix, Dane met Odie in 2005 while working a 9 to 5. They quickly found that they shared a similar passion. Dane teamed up with Odie, Stern & Go Figga Entertainment to release his first single "Before We Met", which became an instant favorite among fans. Not long afterward, he dropped his first album titled "Diversity", a collection of tracks showcasing the many styles & talents of this rising star. After taking a break from Go Figga, Dane started working with rapper/producer Carolina Boy, together they released an album titled "The Come Up", it was a milestone for both, producing a number of hit songs. With influences ranging from Usher & John Legend to Boys II Men, The Temptations & Eminem, Dane's latest album "Switchin Lanes" was released on November 11th 2010 and is currently available for free at his official website, www.DaneRussell.com.
