DeVotchka, Colorado’s best export, is best known for scoring the film Little Miss Sunshine. The band received worldwide attention and a Grammy Nomination for their work on the critically acclaimed movie. DeVotchka’s music has been highlighted in advertising campaigns from Xbox to the NBA. The music has also been licensed for many popular television programs including “Weeds” and “Everwood.” The band also has performed live on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and “Later with Jools Holland.”
DeVotchka tour the world nonstop, originally as a backing band for burlesque shows before quickly becoming a headlining act. Worldwide touring in support of their three self-released records earned the band a ravenous underground following.
Performing live has been the foundation of success, and the band has performed in most venues in major U.S. cities including Disney Hall in Los Angeles, Red Rocks in Colorado, The Greek in San Francisco and The Gorge in Washington as well as hitting all of the major U.S. festivals including Bonnaroo, Coachella, Lollapalooza, ACL, Mile High and Bumbershoot.
Expanding their touring across the pond, DeVotchka performed at most of the larger European festivals including Sziget in Instanbul, Pukklepop in Belguim, Lowlands in Netherlands, Malmo in Sweden and the Heineken Festival in Poland.
A new record release on Anti- Records is planned for Spring 2011 in addition to the following film scores:

2. “Waiting for Forever” starring Rachel Bilson
3. “The Joneses” starring Demi Moore and David Duchovny
