Born in San Mateo, California, Stacy's singing career began in the San Francisco Bay Area when her mother entered her in the California Miss Pageant System. She sang in school choir and musical theatre. She performed at Great America in Santa Clara, and was 4th runner up for Miss San Jose.
In Southern California she sang in the club scene then moved to Tokyo, Japan to sing in a hostess club named Vivi’s. It was at this hostess club that an agent approached her to open for R&B groups “Klymaxx” and “Lakeside”. She was then able to perform with Japanese and American acts, recorded an album and record voiceovers for commercials. It was in Japan that Stacy started singing Jazz.
Since returning to the States, Stacy has continued her singing career performing in many venues around the Bay Area. She won a Jazz vocal competition at Marqs in Menlo Park and performed there every Thursday night for six months. She had a three-month stint in Yoshi’s Lounge in San Francisco was in residence at Forli Restorante in Alamo as well as the Director or Music there. She sang monthly at The Peasant and the Pear, Father Nature’s Hideaway, AuburnJames, Bridges and Incontro in Danville to name a few places.
Stacy also produces her own stage show entitled “The Women of Soul” where she sings the songs of the iconic Diana Ross and just finish a three month residency in the Zeneth Sky Lounge at the Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel in Nagoya, Japan. Stacy can now be found at the Miyakonojo Green Hotel in Miyakonojo, Japan till May 2014. She is ready to be on the road again.
