Fate On Canvas / Bio

The band was started in the summer of 2007 in the basement of Kyle Newman's parents' house in Bristol, CT. Franco Garzone and Kyle practiced together for about a year before Dan Thibodeau finally decided to join the act, forming the three piece band that is currently Fate on Canvas. This, however, was not the first time these three had shared the stage as part of a musical act.
Kyle, Dan, and Franco had played together in a band in high school, and now, towards the tail end of their college years, decided to reform as old time friends. Practice then, like now, was a lot of work as band members lived in different parts of the state. Practices and shows required a lot of coordination and dedication. Today as then, Fate on Canvas continues to work through the difficulties to bring righteous tunes to the masses.
In early 2010, the recording of "Alive as Mysteries", the band's debut album, began in East Lake Recording Studios in Shelburne Falls, MA. Finished at the end of the following summer, the album is a true exemplar of the band's musical style and talent. The album itself was on iTunes previously, and will be again soon. Our latest work, "2012 EP" is available on iTunes, Spotify, Rhapsody, Google Play, and more. Search Fate on Canvas.
Fate on Canvas has played Webster U.G., Bleachers, Up or on the Rocks, The Space, All Stars, Toad's Place, The National Underground in NYC, zen bar, and city steam to name a few. No matter what the venue, the band is always ready to rock you out! See you at the next show for a good FOC'n time!
