Spyder D / Bio

Spyder D, a legendary pioneering rapper and producer from Queens, NY, was the first rap artist to open up his own record label in which he wrote and produced his first hit record, “Big Apple Rappin”.
Spyder has just completed a new lead single and “ I Hate Being Black”, an unflinching social commentary on being Black in America. He has also recently released a collectors edition EP entitled "Big City Rappin'". The title track is a remake of the classic debut Newtroit Records 12’ single “Big Apple Rappin”. The EP also features a remix of "In Case You Didn't Know" by Producer/DJ Legend Marley Marl of New York's WBLS. That song features Rock Hall Of Famer Chuck D and David Ruffin Jr.
Spyder has shared his experiences in the music industry, through his autobiography: “So You Wanna Be a Rapper”, written by Mark Skillz and foreword written by Hip Hop Mogul Russell Simmons. The book can be purchased via , Amazon and iTunes and Sony eReader, among other digital outlets.

Hip Hop’s Unsung Rap Artist has now been reborn.
