This female fronted pop band met over two years ago and quickly realized their quirky chemistry and immense talent as musicians handed them enormous potential together and they acted on it, leading to the beginning of 'Six Stories Told'. They have made every minute count with over 200 high energy and audience packed shows at venues including Webster Hall in New York City, Stanhope House, The CIty WInery, The Hard Rock Cafe, Six Flags amusement parks up and down the East Coast and the prestigious Bamboozle Festival at The Meadowlands.
The band is influenced by artists including Maroon 5 and One Direction but also story tellers Taylor Swift and Kelly Clarkson as well. All of the members show individuality in their appearance and personality, but together, they create an incredibly cohesive sound and feel. Lead singer Joanna DeRosa is a versatile singer who commands the stage. Now mix that with bass player Nikki Conero, guitar and vocalist Jesse Sheppard, keyboardist Ben Langer and drummer Tyler McDermott and Six Stories Told delivers a very powerful, dynamic stage performance that is unsurpassed in charisma, charm and appeal!
Their first ep, We Are Now, explored the fun and frustration of being a teenager with catchy, current music that really connects with their fans of all ages. SST is always commended for their energetic on-stage performances and their personal connection with their fans.
