Born in Goose Bay, Labrador, Canada, December 23.
My passion for singing began as a child and it now extends into my goals as an adult Artist.
Singing and writing are what I thoroughly enjoy doing. My writing began as poetry (and essays in English class!) in high school, which later turned into song writing and collaborating with musician friends. My enthusiasm with voice, guitar and writing lyrics from my heart and life experience has made my singing well-seasoned. I've since had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with legendary song writer Gerald Smith in Nashville, TN, June 2014. Songs are Stupid Cupid and Nobody's Homeless in Heaven.
I've lived and performed as far East as St. John's, Newfoundland and as far West as Vancouver, BC.
While residing in Vancouver, BC from 1995 - 2002, one of the highlights was meeting and working with Checo Tohomaso and his 150 member six part harmony choir. I was given the opportunity to perform as a Soloist with the Vancouver Community Soul Choir that he directed. Checo, from whom I obtained vocal instruction, is a collegue of Lionel Richie. I'll always cherish and appreciate the connections that I have made in my travels as it as made my music abilities very versatile and has most definitely added pizzazz in what I do.
Other past performances include shows with Newfoundland Tours. And many open mics and also the Local, 320 Torbay Road (formerly the Grumpy Stump), Wednesday nights at 9:00 pm.
Thank-you so much for reading and listening! Stay tuned!!
