In a city full of weekend warriors and guyliner-wearing singer-songwriters, Atlanta's Patterson West sticks out like a sore thumb. And they're proud of that.
It's their authenticity that has the Southern-fried four-piece packing venues all over Georgia for the last year, showcasing their very real love for the quintessential artists of the blues, country, Southern rock, and classic rock. Unlike a majority of "bar bands", Patterson West is younger than most of the songs they lovingly pay tribute to night-in and night-out. It is this youthful exuberance that sets the boys apart, and keeps the crowd on their feet through all of their favorite tunes.
Musicians with this sort of passion cannot thrive on covers alone, and Patterson West has been diligently working on their first record at a small studio in Atlanta. Their original music blends seamlessly into the nightly round of songs about love, heartache, a good time, or a hard life.
