Cadence is a four piece alternative indie rock band located in the heart of a bustling music scene in Central Oregon. The group was formed from a melting pot of musical backgrounds who soon found a big sound in a small town. Citing musical influences ranging from bands like U2, Mute Math and As Tall as Lions, they have easily been placed on diverse showbills.
Since their existance in 2009, they have been busy in their home town and on the road sharing the stage with the likes of 'Larry and His Flask,' 'Mosley Wotta,' and Myspace Records celebreties 'Adventure Galley' to name a few. On August 19, 2011 the foursome released their much anticipated self-titled debut EP over the air on their local rock radio station and to a hungry crowd who easily digested the melodic and distinct guitar riffs with a helping of gritty but refined vocals reminiscent of Dustin Kensrue of American rock band, Thrice.
You can hear them on regular circulation via 3 radio stations throughout Oregon or if you have an opportunity to catch them live, don't miss out - They will not disappoint. In fact, you will most likely take them with you while waging the age old war of getting that memorably catchy song out of your head.
