Stro (short for Maestro) Maxwell is a Chicago native who grew up in Atlanta practicing and listening to music from a very young age. Genuinely gifted with a love for his craft that is evident in the music he creates, he has continued to evolve artistically as an accomplished producer/songwriter who sings (and won’t hesitate to spit a rhyme or two when he’s feeling it). His influences are as diverse as his music, crediting legends such as Run DMC, Michael Jackson, Outkast, Madonna and Rick James as inspirations.

Initially known for his credited work with mainstream artists such as multi-platinum group, 112 and Pink, Stro has also worked with artists such as Jay Rock (Watt's Finest), Kendrick Lamar, Jazze Pha, Fabo (D4L) and Zuni Whels (Warner UK). He is currently producing and writing on several independent projects and recently released his own debut album to critical acclaim, 'Things I Know' (in stores now).

Whether producing infectious pop, r&b grooves, amplified alternative or hip hop tracks that ‘go hard’, Stro Maxwell is recognized as one of the most talented and versatile producers under the mainstream radar. With the projects he has on deck, he’s not likely to stay under that radar for long.
