What is R.I.S.K on Da Disk? An alternative sound born and bred in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We pride ourselves on our original music and lyrics that are an infusion of a diverse range of genres. Our music comes from our wide array of influences, such as Linkin Park, 311, Sublime, Bob Marley even all the way to Bob Dylan and The Byrds. The main basis of our music is reggae in a hip hop style as evidenced in the track "All Alone" combined with the storytelling and powerful leads as heard on "Harvest Season". The band consists of Killa Wes, lead vocalist, MikeyDread, guitar, lead and vocals and MonstaHood, guitar, lead and vocals. Killa Wes is a driving force behind production and engineering. MikeyDread is the musical sage and mentor for Risk on da Disk lending his expertise as musical arranger and executive producer.
