In spite of growing up surrounded by cornstalks in the middle of Iowa, Miss Christine Moad always knew that she wanted to be a performer. At the age of twelve, she picked up the electric bass and has been hooked ever since. Since moving to Boston to study electric bass performance at Berklee College of Music in 2010, she has been doing just that. Opening for artists such as Eric Church and Keystone Revisited, playing with Jefferson Starship and recording with Greg Hopkins, Christine has a wide variety of experience playing and singing live and in the studio.
Raised on a musical diet of psychedelic rock from the ‘60s and ‘70s, funk, R&B, and soul, Christine has assimilated these genres into her own unique style of bass playing and singing. All around the east coast, Christine plays bass and sings backgrounds for several bands such as Dirty Blind, Leaders Led, and Niki Luparelli and the Gold Diggers.
