Lost in that moment that starts to turn
Feels like nothing could pull you that
hard
When years of dreams get whittled down
And you're left with who and what
you are

You want some light but it burns too bright
You want some love like
never before
And there you stand and there you fall
And the future spreads
beyond that door

When hope is rising so your fears increase
When hope is rising got something to lose
When hope is rising you're scared to act
When
hope is rising you know you might fail
You might fail

And so it falls to
you on your own
No other hand could carry this weight
You want somewhere that
you can call home
You want a skin so that you can hide

Through twists and
turns that torture your mind
Throughout it all you cling to that hope
That
somehow this will all turn all right
There'll be a day to follow this
night
