This is the morning light
And it’s blending my eye
I take a deep breathe then
Can you smell the fresh-baked pie?

But this day started with
The song of a bird
He wanted to bring his love to you

I went into the forest
And finally i could see
The bird on a branch
He was looking down on me

He siad “Hey girl!
Hello Walter is my name.
I like your red scarf
Oh I wished I had the same!”

My scarf was made of the red sheep’s wool
They are my friends I know them from knitting school

“Why are you still standing there?
Come on and climb up the tree!
It’s still so cold outside
Can you please warm me?”

I couldn’t believe he said this
It was just too astonishing
But I said “Yes!” and smiled
And climbed up next to him
