Sometimes the world is not
The way its meant to be…
And sometimes blood is thicker than oil
Too much chaos reins
Too much confusion falls
And no-one knows the truth at all…

My eyes betray a simple man
And my feelings are so small..
Smiling broadly-
I’ll listen to what you say
I never understand at all…

Looking forward
Not looking to the past
-look into the past..
Stand up for your dreams
Stand up for your life
Know no-one knows you better than I..
There’s nothing here to see-
There’s nothing new to show
It’s always been the way before…

Come closer to my heart
And listen to what I say,
You know I’ve nothing to conceal
I’ll dream your dreams for you
And care for them my way-
(I’ll always tell you what to feel......)

Just looking forward now
Not looking to the past
Look into the past
Listen to your heart
Listen to your mind
You know there really is no choice
Sing the words I sing
And hear the vision too-
‘I only see the sound of ‘the Voice’’

Lyrics by M D Powell
Music by K Dawson

Morten Johansen’s manifesto had long been the toast of the shadowy elitist groups with whom he had shared his thoughts, he had laboured hard on this audience and their influence on the media had now galvanized the electorate into accepting most of the tenets of his philosophy. It was now time for his emergence into the eternal sea of politics.
Morten’s ideas were simple and candid.. the people needed guarantees… he could only supply such a panacea if they loosened their belief in democracy and allowed him to act as the architect of their future. This song can be seen as his impassioned persuasion for this manifesto.
Morton could see that one lifetime would not be enough for him to achieve his vision but the establishment of ‘The Voice’ would become his legacy to the world…at least for now….
