Islands, we are islands
With an ocean between you and me
Somewhere on our islands
There are rivers that flow to the sea
There in one blue ocean
We can reach out to each others' shores
Merging in the water
Letting waves reunite us once more

Others may sail
Where the warm winds prevail
Charting their hearts on our sea
But we will rise and as clouds in the sky
Let the rain wash each new island clean
And our islands will shine evergreen

Islands we are islands
but this ocean won't keep us apart
Your land touching my land
Can begin with a bridge from the heart

Others may sail...

Let it rain let it pour
Let the waves rock our shore
And our summer will come
With the heat of the sun
let it pour, let the rain
Wash away all our pain
Till we see in the sun
All our islands are one
