Sometimes on a rainy day I think of you
Amid all the confusion everything slips away
and the only sound I can hear is the wind
blowing your voice in my ear

Do you ever call my name in the night
Hoping I might answer your plight?
And the only sound you can hear is the echo
of your own voice

You made a starboard grab at the moon in the sky
A courageous stab at the love in my eyes

I don’t think about you much anymore
Only on a rainy day I sense your touch
And the only way I can feel is so free
You let me getaway
