Can Feel The Love

As a composer, there is nothing more satisfying than having others reach out to lend their skills to our music. My Songramp music friend James Cain graced my original song (Waltz for Madonna) with his incredible voice. George Carter Jr., provided some fine mixing skills.

Here is James' inspiration for the lyrics (from his posting of the song on Songramp.com):

"I have been in the medical profession for 25 years. I have been with patients over the years who have become my dear friends. I have had the privilege to be at their side as they departed this earth.

Once I watched a woman who after fighting a long battle with cancer pass on. Her husband of over 60 years watched over her and cared for her with such love, devotion and dedication that I felt honored to know him. He never complained and told me many stories of their adventures and how she was the love of his life. Each time he told a story she would smile and her eyes would twinkle.

As she was dying she locked eyes with her huband of 65 years. She tried to touch his face but was to weak. He took her hand and placed it on his cheek. She quivered a smile and her eyes went blank.

He held her hand on his cheek for the longest time he finially put it down because he wanted to wipe his tears off her face.

When I heard Mike's beautiful music.....I saw this scene.

That my friends is love and that is what inspired the words to this song."
